Reader last week, I watched a Manus AI demo, and it immediately made me think about how AI agents will integrate into GTM teams. Unlike traditional AI tools that assist with tasks, agents operate autonomously, making decisions and executing actions to achieve a goal.
This shifts how we think about sales, marketing, and customer success. Instead of just augmenting existing workflows, AI agents could replace entire processes. Outbound prospecting, customer onboarding, and even recruitment are all areas where AI agents are already demonstrating real impact.
But one of the biggest implications? Operational transparency.
Critical Insight Of The Week
For the first time, we can see the full history of an agent’s actions. Every decision it made, every path it explored, and how it arrived at an outcome. This level of transparency gives businesses a clearer view of what actually drives results.
Instead of just measuring outputs (e.g., how many leads were generated), we get insight into the process - which tactics work, which don’t, and where optimisation is needed. AI agents don’t just execute; they provide a data trail that helps businesses refine and improve their GTM strategies.
